This page gives you some useful hints and tips on how to use the InTouch Forth Valley website.
Question: What does the website contain ?
Answer: The website contains a large collection of information snippets or “records” which have been collected by the InTouch Forth Valley team. These records are checked to ensure they are accurate and up to date, before they are entered on to the website.
Question: When I arrive at the website for the first time, how do I find what I am looking for ?
Answer: The home page of the InTouch Forth Valley website shows the most recently posted records. To find records on a particular topic you have a choice of methods:
Method 1: Browse through the “tag cloud” of keywords on the right hand side of the home page. The cloud of words looks “jumbled” with words of different type size. The bigger the size of the word the more records there are on the InTouch website which have that keyword assigned. When you click on a keyword in the “tag cloud” you will then be presented with a list of the records which are assigned that keyword. You can then browse through those records to find any that are of interest to you.
Method 2: Enter a keyword in to the “Search” box on the right hand side of the home page and then click on the Search button. If the site has any records which contain your keyword then those records will now be shown and you can scroll through them.
Method 3: Click on a particular “Category” in the “Categories” box on the right hand side of the page. All records which have been assigned to that category will then be shown and you can scroll through them.
